South Central Is Mecca Part II (Coloring Book)

Our all ages coloring book is available now, as the therapeutic outlet to architecturally design South Central Los Angeles 

South Central Is Mecca – Coloring Book is a love letter to South Central Los Angeles rendered in bold, clean line art. It blends cultural history, community pride, and street art aesthetics into an interactive coloring experience. A few standout observations:

• The cover/character spread features graffiti-style lettering ("Zipen Shat" or similar) above a collage of historical and cultural figures — evoking the rich legacy of Black leadership, resistance, and community icons tied to South Central.

• The Slauson Ave scene captures everyday street life — two figures in "Crenshaw" hoodies outside a shop — celebrating the neighborhood's contemporary culture and entrepreneurial spirit.

• The Baldwin Hills Crenshaw / Macy's page pairs a civil rights-era figure with a landmark shopping center, grounding the book in both history and place.

• Dootone Records (9512 S. Central Ave) honors South Central's deep musical roots — Dootone was a legendary independent label that helped birth West Coast R&B and doo-wop.

• "Maintain The Mystery" — your brand's crown logo — is woven right into the book, making it feel personal and intentional.

• Miss Watts 1967 is a beautiful tribute to community celebration and Black joy during a pivotal era.
